I want that! #19

I want that.

So yesterday I got addicted to a new show...and it is called True Blood. It's amazing. It's like Twilight for adults. I would highly recommend this show to everyone, even if vampires and such usually ain't your thing. The actors are great and the story lines are crazy. Warning, it is highly addicting.

Season two began yesterday, but if you're like me and want to catch up, you can purchase season one on DVD. It's a bit pricey, but it's on sale at Best Buy and Target this week for $25.00, which is a very very good deal.

Enjoy, babies!

I want that.

After months and months of waiting and using a piece of crap phone, I finally was able to own the Palm Pre, the cell phone previously mentioned in one of my first posts. And yes, it is the best phone ever.

But now I need to accessorize! Obviously. With a phone as cool as mine, it's a total drag to just plug it into a wall to charge. So, my friends, I bring you the Touchstone Charger...simply place the phone on the surface of the charger and it snaps into place because magnets are super cool!

I also need to invest in a screen protector, stat! Can't let anything ruin the best phone in the world.

I want that.

Hello folks. Once again I am back for a posting extravaganza. I find myself constantly running around due to the fact that I know work an internship in the morning and then head straight to my real job.

But anyways, I would love nothing more than a nice, freezing cold bottle of Samuel Adam's Summer Ale. Work sucks and nothing would make me happier than to be chilling at home with a beer right now.

I want that.

On Monday night I went to see Jack's Mannequin at the House of Blues in Boston.  Two people opened for him, one being Matt Nathanson, the other Erin McCarley.  I'm not going to lie, Erin McCarley blew me away.  She is a singer/songwriter/guitar player and she is pretty much everything I would want to be if I was a performer.  Her songs are beautiful and honest and her live performances are simply outstanding.

Her lyrics affected me immediately, and she has plenty of happy uptempo songs for sunny Spring/Summer days, which is exactly the kind of music I'm looking for right now.  I need this CD ASAP.

So please, check her out.  She'll be touring with Paolo Nutini next (who is also playing at the House of Blues in July).  You can listen to her songs on her MySpace, and I highly, HIGHLY recommend "Pitter-Pat."  Leave comments and let me know what you think, and expect another music post soon.

I want that.

Spring has sprung my friends! And with that comes the exciting fashion frontier of dresses! Both of these dresses are from American Eagle, and both of them need to be in my closet.  Dress #1 is a great color--and I also love the material at the top, it's very comfortable to wear normally or with a bathing suit.

Dress #2 is simply adorable.  I adore the stripe pattern, along with the bow around the waist and the button straps.

Keep on the look out for more frequent posts, considering school is nearly over. Woo hoo!

I want that.

These little babies are from American Eagle.  I need a new pair of sunglasses, because now Spring has sprung and I'm ready to rock.  I'm totally into the old school shape paired up with the sassy leopard print.  Hot stuff.

I've been a busy bee, and I don't see things slowing down, but I promisseee I will keep up with this.

When it comes to beer, there's only one brand that I truly, deeply love.  And that, my friends, is Samuel Adams.

With that, I would like to introduce you to their newest line of beers...the Imperial Series.  Each beer has a minimum alcohol percentage of 9%, so their a good, heavy beer.  It features Imperial Stout, Double Bock, and Imperial White.  I'm really looking forward to trying the Imperial Stout, personally.  Stouts are heavy but usually never a disappointment in the flavor department.

This series was just released, and you can find it an any of your local liquor stores.

I want that.

Here's my dilemma. On Monday I am leaving for NYC for three days to celebrate St. Patty's/watch my little sister twirl in the parade.  I have $100 towards a purchase from Tiffany's (yay!), but I don't know what to buy (boo!).

But this is what I've narrowed my choices down to.  I know I want a ring, but I can't decide which one I want.  They're all so cute!

Don't worry, I will make a special post when I come back featuring all the things I wanted from NYC, along with what I bought.

I want that.

I need a new pair of flats.  I have an adorable pair that I'm in love with, but sadly they're starting to look old.  So, here are a couple of pairs that I found while wasting time at work today.

The first pair are from Payless.  They're only $16.99 and they're cute enough that I would spend the money on them.  Love the bows, and I love the effect of the ribbon weaving through the shoe.

The second I found on Journey's website.  I love a pair of flats that have just enough decoration...so usually a bow is just right.  They're also a great color that could go with a lot of things in my wardrobe.

Here is another plaid shirt from American Eagle that I find absolutely adorable.  It comes in a great selection of colors...very bright pastels, if that makes any sense.  But this green one definitely jumped out.  I need more obscure colors in my wardrobe.

Me gustaaaa!

Tip:  The sizes for shirts like these run in "jean" sizes...but if you're waist is smaller than your hips like mine, I would recommend buying a couple sizes down.

If you are a girl like me, then you are a girl with curves...which is great, but it makes it tough to find jeans that fit you well.  Especially skinny jeans.

I have the best luck with PacSun skinny jeans.  It seems that my hip size is completely different with my leg shape and waist size, and for some reasons these jeans seem to conform perfectly to my body.

Plus, at the moment, they're having a jean sale...buy one pair, get one free.  I'm so there.

I want that.

Tickets went on sale this morning for Jack's Mannequin and The Fray at the Comcast Center.
I have seen both bands live and they are totally worth the money, even if we have to pay a butt load for tickets.

My cousin is supposed to be hooking us up with seats...so lets hope this goes through, or I'll be pissseeed!

Haha Happy Friday, but more importantly, HAPPY SPRING BREAK!!

I want that.

Meet the first item I plan on using my tax returns on.  The Tattersall Graffiti Small Domed Satchel is my dream bag.  The Tattersall material makes it easier to clean and maintain, and the design is so intense.  I tried on this bag at the Coach my sister works at, and the sales girl who was helping me told her that this bag was perfect for me.

Coach bags are on the expensive side, but they are definitely worth the money.  They last a long time and they always look great.

Plus, the matching Mini Skinny is adorable.

So if it could stop snowing after 60 degree days, that would be great.

I will post something with more substance once I finish this Music History crap. ;)

I want that.

I saw this dress tonight when I went to buy my I want that! item #1.  It looks like it's going to make a very comfortable dress for going to the beach and such.  I tend to wear a lot of dresses during the summer and I need to vamp up my collection.

AE has a great selection of dresses for the summer, but this one definitely caught my eye.  They have blue and orange also available, if you so desire. :)

The material is soft and light and it will look great over a bathing suit.

It was another beautiful day today, sadly snow is in the forecast for tomorrow. :(

So, stay safe, stay warm, and I'll talk to you next post!

I want that! #3

I want that.

I know I just posted, but I think it's time for another.  I can't help but get absolutely giddy every time I see this beauty.  This is Sprint's upcoming phone, the Palm Pre.  A full touch screen phone, with a sliding QWERTY keyboard (pinch me, am I dreaming?).  The design is flawless...it looks like it just belongs it my hand, you know?  Maybe you don't. But I do.

ANYWAYS.  This phone is full of sick features.  It comes with a new OS designed specifically for the phone, which has been getting pretty decent reviews.  They have revolutionized how to organize and retrieve contacts, emails, and messages.  For once, Sprint is doing something right...and here's another first: I'm actually glad I'm a Sprint costumer.

The phone isn't due out until the second half of the year, but I've signed up to receive an email when it comes out.

It's beautiful.  It's complicated.  It's technology.  Dear god, I'm in love.

I want that.

My summer would not be complete if I didn't buy a bathing suit from Victoria's Secret.

And I must say, this one is a definite winner in my book.  The pattern is adorable, the peace sign is a great accent, and it comes in yellow AND teal.  I will most likely go with the teal, although yellow could still be a possibility.  Another amazing thing about this bathing suit is it comes as a push-up.  Perfect for me. :)

It was such a nice day out today, that I couldn't help but feel a little summery.

Don't forget to turn your clocks forward; I'm pretty bummed I'm losing an hours sleep.  I lose enough sleep as it is normally.

Cheers, and Happy Sunday!  See you next post.

Hello my babies...

I want that.

There has been one clothing item that I've wanted for sometime...especially now, since the weather is getting so nice!

Plaid button-up shirts look so comfortable and so cute when paired with the right pair of skinny jeans.  My inspiration sparked from Ashlee Simpson and my good friend Christy.

Of course, the one I REALLY want is from my favorite clothing retailer, American Eagle.
This is also available in pink and in grey, but I think this color looks better on me.  I'm all about the funk, ya know?

First Post...

Hello there!

Welcome to my blog.

One of the phrases that seems to fall out of my mouth on a daily basis is "I want that!"

From clothes, to the newest electronic device, to something as simple as coffee...if you mention it, I'll probably want it.

So, the point of this blog is to share the many things that I want in life.

Enjoy.
